DRAWINGS
Through my drawing practice, I explore the tensions and dynamic interplay between form and flow. Each drawing is built from simple building blocks: circles and arcs. By varying the arrangement and relative density of these component parts, larger structures emerge. The final drawings are rendered in ballpoint pen on paper with the aid of a drawing tool called a pen plotter. This enables extremely fine alignment of the densely layered line-work. My intention is that these drawings, while precisely defined, nonetheless allow for expansive visual encounters.
